RareLister.com User Agreement

This User Agreement summarizes, in simplified language, the key rules Users must follow when using RareLister.com. It does not replace the full Terms & Conditions. In case of conflict, the Terms & Conditions prevail.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using RareLister you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You accept the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.
- You agree to follow all platform rules.
2. General Responsibilities of All Users
Users must:
- Provide accurate account details.
- Complete identity verification if requested.
- Keep accounts secure.
- Use the platform lawfully and respectfully.
- Not harass, abuse, or threaten others.
- Not engage in shill bidding, manipulation, or fraud.
- Not attempt to bypass or circumvent the platform.
RareLister may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
3. Photo, Video & Description Rules (Simplified)
For transparency and fraud prevention:
Required by Sellers:
- Photos must show the real item, accurately and honestly.
- Colors must be as close to reality as possible.
- Minor variations may occur due to screen/device settings.
- All defects must be photographed and described.
- Hallmarks, stamps, serial numbers, and certificates must be shown.
- No editing that changes the real appearance (color changes, hiding defects, altering shape).
Required Videos:
- Sellers: full packaging video.
- Buyers: unboxing video.
Both videos must be continuous and unedited.
4. Bidding Rules for Buyers
- All bids are final and binding.
- If you win, you must pay within 72 hours.
- You must record an unboxing video upon delivery.
- You have 3 business days to report issues.
- You must pay all VAT, customs duties, and import taxes.
If no dispute is filed within 3 business days, the payment is released to the Seller.
5. Listing Rules for Sellers
Sellers must:
- Describe items honestly and accurately.
- Use real photos meeting RareLister standards.
- Provide certificate numbers, stamps, and measurements.
- Record a complete packaging video.
- Ship within 5 business days.
- Provide tracking.
Failure may result in dispute loss, withheld funds, or suspension.
6. Payments & Fund Release
RareLister holds payments securely until:
- Buyer confirms delivery, or
- The 3-day inspection period ends.
RareLister may freeze funds if fraud is suspected.
7. Disputes
To file a dispute, the Buyer must provide:
- Full unboxing video.
- Photos of the issue.
RareLister will review:
- Seller packaging video,
- Buyer unboxing video,
- Listing details.
RareLister’s decision is final.
8. Prohibited Items
Users may not list:
- Illegal or stolen goods.
- Counterfeit items.
- Items violating intellectual property.
- Items banned under EU, US, or international law.

9. Anti-Circumvention
Users may not attempt to complete any RareLister-originated transaction outside the platform. Violations may result in permanent bans.
10. Account Security & Fraud Prevention
RareLister may:
- Require ID or proof of address.
- Freeze funds during investigations.
- Deny suspicious transactions.
- Suspend or terminate accounts related to fraud.
11. Privacy & Data Use
Personal data is processed according to GDPR and RareLister’s Privacy Policy. Users may request data access, correction, or deletion.
12. Legal Framework
By using RareLister, Users agree that:
- Estonian and EU law apply.
- Disputes fall under Estonian jurisdiction.
